KIMBERLEY. A suspected robber has just been shot dead at the Monument Spar.
Paramedics struggled to save the man’s life after he was allegedly shot by one of the store’s owners. Three suspects apparently tried to rob one of the shops in the Spar Centre, according to a bystander.
Mariese Kiesman, a bystander who shopped at Spar, says she saw the whole incident.
“There were three men. They ran past me. I heard a shot and saw one go to the ground. It was an older man who shot him. They tried to rob the jewellery store. They threatened the uncle with a weapon. “
FiND iT has inquired with the police and is awaiting comment.
