Ntesang Joyce, also known as Malisi or “Mummy” Makhata passed away on 30 September, 2021. Herewith her funeral streamed live from the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Vergenoeg, Galeshewe:
“She has left footprints and memories for us today to remember and to hold on to as her dear children. We will forever cherish those memories of our Dearest Mummy,” Mpho Gopane, said her eldest daughter.
Mellah Makhata said she will always remember her mother as a kind and generous parent.
“We remember her as someone who loved God dearly. She was a retired teacher, who dearly loved her family.”
Ntesang was a member of the Anglican Church and also part of the Anglican Women’s Fellowship.
She is survived by her two sisters, Mengese Mabija and Kelebogile Shayi and she was blessed with three incredible children – all are still alive by the grace of God. They are Marshall Makhata, Mellah Makhata, Mpho Gopane. She also has grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She has passed on due to natural causes. Her memories will always be cherished and remembered by her children and grandchildren.
