KIMBERLEY. – People in Kimberley, assistance is needed from the community and businesses to help the teams on the ground to patrol the city to prevent looting.
R3 000 is needed for 30 items before store closure for the day. These items will not be named as the thieves can read this too.
Tumelo Mosikare, community leader, says they also need an upstart of R2 400.
“Will ensure records are kept of all donations, those who wish to remain anonymous will be kept such. Your last cell number will be used as reference for the donation made.”

Residents speak out about looting
Audrey Brown Hayward says Kimberley needs to show they are beter than looting and stealing. “Just copy cats. You can’t just take what is not yours. Can’t they show Kimberley is better. Stay in your houses rather than break down places people have worked hard for.”
Godfry Julius say Kimberley must remain calm. “Kimberley, please remain calm. We know the difference between right and wrong. I urge you to remain calm.”
