Photobomb alert! Meet this lovable sea lion who wanted to check out his own reflection.
The images were captured by underwater photographer, David Edgar, who was visiting Baird Bay in South Australia.
He was capturing another group of posing sea lions when this little guy decided to jump into frame to check out his reflection in the camera.
David, based in Sydney, said: “I was lining up a shot of a perfectly posed sea lion, when his friend photo-bombed the frame to take a close look at my camera! “I think the sea lions are particularly interested in the cameras as they can see their reflection in the lens.”
“Sea lions act just like puppy dogs. They feed off your energy, and the more you move, dive and swim – the more they like to play. “Whilst they are a little ungainly on land, sea lions are so incredibly acrobatic underwater and can spin around you in seconds. “Sometimes they might take a nibble on your toes, but they are absolutely harmless and are a joy the swim with.”
A future in modelling could be on the cards for this adorable sea lion.
