This cute hedgehog called Mic Mic has his own Instagram page and has become an online sensation in Hong Kong where he lives as a domestic pet with his owner Swing.
Swing, from Hong Kong in south-eastern China, told Newsflash that Mic Mic is the family’s second hedgehog after their first, Banana, passed away in December 2020 at five years of age.
Swing said that Mic Mic, who is Banana’s son, enjoys baby food, adding that chicken is his favourite.
The owner said: “He came in my life in 2015 when I was a student, and will continue staying with me now that I am ready to start looking for work.
Swing told Newsflash: “He doesn’t have many friends because hedgehogs are solitary animals. He sleeps in a cage and we take his food to him there.”

In the first video, shared on Mic Mic’s very own Instagram page, the cute hedgehog is seen scampering around the home with a tube stuck on its face.
The second clip shows Swing giving the pampered hedgehog’s belly a nice rub as Mic Mic stares into the camera.
And in a third he has his ears gently tugged as his face breaks into a smile.
