Members of the Kimberley K9 and Crime intelligence recovered an illegal firearm and ammunition and arrested a male suspect today, 16 October 2020 at 07:15.
The team executed a search warrant at a shack in the Blikkiesdorp settlement in Galeshewe.
Upon searching the shack the members discovered a .22 calibre pistol that was reported stolen in Kimberley during 1995. A 32 year old man was arrested and charged for possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition and will soon appear in the Galeshewe Magistrates court.
