KATHU. – Die polisie hier het gevaarlike wapens tydens ’n stop-en-soek gekonfiskeer. Onder die voorwerpe was toestelle wat kar-alarmstelsels blok.

During COVID 19 crime prevention duties conducted in the Kathu policing during level 2 of the Lockdown period, Sgt Ben Eiman and Constables Blythe Jantjes and Beatriz Canchibato of shift C confiscated numerous dangerous weapons.
These dangerous weapons were confiscated by the members during stop and search actions to enforce the Lockdown Regulations.
Among the items were jamming devices used to jam vehicles alarm systems. The Station Commander of Kathu police, Lt Col Sandra Boshoff commended the members for their efforts to enforce the Lockdown Regulations.
