POSTMASBURG – ’n Bejaarde vrou (62) se lewelose liggaam is Donderdag 9 Julie 2020 in haar huis in Postdene op Postmasburg ontdek. Die nadoodse ondersoek het aan die lig gebring dat die slagoffer seksueel aangerand en verwurg is.

62 year old raped and killed
KIMBERLEY: The Provincial Commissioner of the Northern Cape, Lt Gen Risimati Peter Shivuri has strongly condemned the rape and murder of a 62 year old woman in Postmasburg.
A 72 hour activation plan has been implemented after the incident. “No effort or resources will be spared in tracking down the perpetrator/s”, so emphasized General Shivuri.
The lifeless body of the elderly woman was discovered at her house at Postdene in Postmasburg on Thursday, 09 July 2020. Her mattress was found burnt and an inquest docket was initially opened.
Postmortem results conducted on Friday, 10 July in Kuruman revealed that the victim was sexually assaulted and strangled.
The victim’s cellphone,laptop and handbag containing her vehicle keys were reportedly stolen by the suspect/s.
