The police in Kimberley are contuining unabatedly to remove drugs from the streets when they arrested two males today, 30 May 2020 in two unrelated cases.
Members of Kimberley K9 and Crime Intelligence units executed two search warrants after receiving information about the sale of drugs at two premises in John Daka , Galeshewe in Kimberley.
The first warrant of arrest was executed at 13:00 in Thesele street where Tik with an estimated street value of R500-00, counterfeit notes and a cellphone were confiscated.
A 35 year old male foreign national was arrested.
The second arrest was executed at 14:00 in Cyril Ramaphosa street also in Galeshewe during which Tik valued at R1000-00, a scale and Tik lollies were seized and a 30 year old male foreign national was arrested .
Both suspects were charged for dealing in drugs and will soon appear in the Galeshewe Magistrates court.
The group leaders, Brig Nicky Mills and Brig Bossie Jacobs commended the members for their persistent efforts in stamping down the authority of the state and for squeezing the space for drug dealers to operate.
