GALESHEWE – Die polisie gaan voort om die inperkingregulasies af te dwing. Op Dinsdag 5 Mei het polisielede 700 liter selfgemaakte bier in Galeshewe vernietig.

The efforts of the SAPS in enforcing the Lockdown Regulations is paying off as members today, 05 May 2020 destroyed 700 litres of home brewed concoction in Number 2 in Galeshewe.
Members visited a house in Galeshewe where the owner was alleged to be brewing and selling the concoction to the community.
The members conducting Covid-19 duties arrested the 68 year old male owner and charged him for dealing in concoctions in terms of sec 4(2) read with Section 46(a)& sec 48(1) of Northern Cape Liquor Act 2 of 2008. The police will continue relentlessly to enforce level 4 of the Regulations of the Disaster Management Act Regulations in the province.
