NOORD-KAAP – Die polisie op Modderrivier het Sondag 26 April 2020 ’n man vir die besit van ’n ongelisensieerde vuurwapen in hegtenis geneem.

On 26 April 2020, the police in Modderrivier arrested a man for possession of unlicensed firearm.
It is alleged that the members followed up on information about the firearm in Rietvale. The firearm was found hidden in the house and further investigation revealed that the firearm was stolen in Tsineng. One male suspect was arrested and 14 other people found in the house were issued with fines for contravening the Disaster Management Regulation, failure to confine oneself to their place of residence. The arrested suspect is expected to appear before court soon.
