Since the start of 21 days of lockdown various stakeholders such as the police, the SANDF, Department of Health, Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison, Local government, etc, have been all out in the communities to enforce compliance as set out in the Regulations promulgated by the President .
Streets have been patrolled around Kathu and Kuruman areas.
Furthermore, Supermarkets and many more places have been visited by various stakeholders to check on compliance with regard to social distancing, sanitizers been used, permits to control movement of people, etc.
The JTG cluster commander, Major General Johan Bean issued a stern warning to the communities to stay at home and adhere to the Regulations as promulgated. Those transgressing the law during this period will be prosecuted. End
