POSTMASBURG – Polisie het die Postmasburg-omgewing besoek om te kyk of sjebiens by die regulasies van die 21 dae inperking hou. Met hierdie besoek is twee sjebiens gesluit, twee sjebieneienaars is in hegtenis geneem, boetes is uitgereik en die drank is gekonfiskeer.

The Station Commander of Postmasburg police, Lt Col Andries Witbooi and his members went out in full force to enforce the Regulations promulgated during the 21 day lockdown period announced by the President.
While conducting operations, the police visited shebeens to check for compliance in the greater Postmasburg area.
Two shebeens were closed down ,two arrested, fines issued and the liquor confiscated.
Lt Col Witbooi warned the public that the police Will be stamping down the authority of the state harshly during this period. End
