South African popular rapper Ricky Rick has passed away. The hip-hop artist allegedly took his own life on Wednesday 23 February. Details about the death of the rap artist are not clear, but we have learned that the well accomplished musician Ricky Rick, whose real name is Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, allegedly hung himself at this house in a Johannesburg northern suburb.
Ricky Rick has been trending on Twitter, but not for the right reasons. The video shows the hip-hop artist dancing with his wife Bianca Naidoo. However, Bianca seemed very “uncomfortable” in the video and that left questions about the couple’s marriage.

In a last tweet at 03:00 Ricky Rick wrote, “I’ll return a strong man. This land is still my home.” Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, better known as Ricky Rick, was born and raised in KwaMashu in KwaZulu Natal on 20 July 1987.

The rapper got married to Bianca Naidoo in 2014 and has two children. He suffered from “chronic depression” which led him on a destructive path. The passing of the rap artist comes a while after the passing of Patrick Shai who was acting in The River. His passing was so sudden and rumoured to have been suicide. In 2017 South Africa lost another hip-hop giant HHP to suicide.
According to Sunday World, a source close to the scene alleged that Ricky Rick was still alive when he was found and was rushed to hospital. Details of his passing have been waving all over social media and the full details are yet to be confirmed.
