Police in Mpumalanga have arrested three suspects in connection with an alleged double farm murder and a house robbery in Piet Retief.
According to the SAPS spokesperson in Mpumalanga, the three suspects were arrested on Sunday (9 January) for allegedly shooting and killing an elderly couple.
The same suspects are believed to be responsible for an alleged robbery on 16 December 2021 at Susana Farm in Piet Retief. The value of the stolen items is estimated at R55 200.
The suspects appeared in the Piet Retief Magistrate’s Court and will remain in custody until Monday 17 January.
