The crew and passengers on a charter flight to Limpopo had a narrow escape when the plane’s propeller blade shot through the cabin.
Propeller breaks off
The Jetstream 41 was approaching the Venetia mining airport when it collided with a large bird. The impact caused the aircraft’s propeller blade to break off and shoot through the cockpit.
While the plane sustained significant damage, none of the passengers or crew were injured.
