Lawrence Masinge, a fitness instructor from Gauteng, was allegedly brutally murdered in his house last night while presenting an online fitness class.
Masinge was allegedly shot dead during a live Zoom session in front of his clients on Wednesday night.
The hashtag #justiceforlawrencemasinge is now spreading like wildfire on Twitter.
One of his clients, known only as Phuthi, wrote on Twitter how horrific it was to witness his murder.
Last night I witnessed the most horrific scene ever.. … We were being trained by an amazing trainer Lawrence Masinge and he was brutally murdered live mid Zoom cardio session. I pray for his family to be comforted. We are robbed! đź’”#justiceforlawrencemasinge

His clients confirmed on social media Masinge was shot in the head while while watching it on their screens.
Photos taken of the incident show a man in beige trousers and a black shirt with what looks like a weapon in his right hand pointing to the Masinge, who is lying on the floor.
Another photo shows a woman watching the incident in tears.
Lawrence Masinge was part of a program to encourage youth exercise, endorsed by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.
