Carol Isen, director of human resources for the city and county of San Francisco said, “It’s quite straightforward – it’s my job to protect the safety of our employees; I am exercising my duty under the San Francisco charter to do just that”.
This new vaccination policy that was introduced on Wednesday said that, “failure to comply with this policy may results in discipline up to and including termination of employment”.
As a condition of employment, proof of vaccination will need to be provided by 29 July by the employees’ health care provider.
