Community members’ smile brighten up again, after McDonald’s Food made it possible by coming to deliver food parcels to them.
On Thursday, 2020-08-13 the management team of McDonald’s together with the owner, Mr Peter Moyanga accompanied by the Station Commander of Upington Brigadier Sampie Koopman, dropped off food parcels in the neighbourhood of Upington. The identified areas were, Diedericks flats, Dakota road and Melkstroom which is about 10km outside Upington.
This was once more an unexpected kind gesture, offered by McDonald’s Food towards the community of Upington. The owner alluded that “the world has been facing great challenges throughout this pandemic period and it is a great honor to give back to the needy in difficult times like this. Although it is little, I believe it will make a difference.” The community representatives of each area shared their gratitude towards the McDonald’s, SAPS and the CPF members.. Brigadier Sampie Koopman, shared words of encouragement to the community and appreciated everyone’s presence.
