KIMBERLEY – Lt. kol. Dimakatso Mooi van die Noord-Kaapse-polisiemediasentrum het deel gevorm van die weeklikse ontbytprogram by Radio Teemaneng Stereo, ’n gemeenskapsradiostasie in Kimberley.
Mooi het saam met die gasheer van die program, Benjamin, oor die kwessies van geslagsgebaseerde geweld gesels.

Lt Col Mooi of Northern Cape SAPS Media Centre formed part of the weekly breakfast show at Radio Teemaneng Stereo, a community radio station in Kimberley.
Lt Col Mooi together with the host of the show Benjamin, interacted about the issues of Gender Based Violence. The case whereby a 60-year-old man who is arrested for allegedly raping his seven-year-old step-daughter was highlighted. Lt Col Mooi also relayed positive success on rape sentences that were handed down over the week by Barkley West Magistrates’ Court.
The talkshow also received several calls from the community commending the Police and complaints were also addressed. The community was thanked for reporting criminals activities and were further encouraged to continue working together with the Police.
