Competition Terms & Conditions

The #beajourno competition is offered subject to the terms and conditions set out below “Terms and Conditions”.

Entry requirements

You have to be aged 13 years or older.

Employees and families of all participating companies are not allowed to enter.

How to Enter

1. You must sign up for the #beajourno newsletter.

2. You must like the Facebook pages of CemAir, Thrifty Car Rental, Cell C, Beajourno and FiND iT.

3.  You must write a story for FiND iT about anything.

4.  When your story is published on www.find-it.co.za, your link URL must be shared far and wide.

5. The competition ends midnight Thursday 31 December 2020.

6. Winner will be announced anywhere between 1 and 9 January 2021.

Terms and Conditions

1. The value of the competition is R15 000 which includes two nights accommodation, car rental and flights for two people to the destination.

2. In the case of a person under the age of 18 that wins this competition, he/she must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the trip. No exceptions made.

4. The value of the #beajourno competition is not exchangeable for cash or other forms of credit and no refunds will be issued for the value of the voucher if travel plans are canceled or altered. All costs above the value of the voucher including any change or cancellation fees are the responsibility of the winner.

5. Notification and claiming the Prize. Following the Prize draw, the winner will be notified using the contact details provided by the Entrant. The winning Entrant has 48 hours from the time and date of the notification being sent to respond. If the Prize is not claimed by the winning Entrant within this time frame, the Prize will be redrawn and any previous winners will forgo all claims to the Prize.

6. The booking must be made and finalized before 31 January 2021 for either taking the trip in February, March, or April 2021.

7. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking and at the hotels discretion depending on level of occupancy. All applicable booking terms and conditions apply that are in line with Covid-19.

9. The trip must be taken once a qualifying booking has been made and confirmed to be available. The prize will not be reinstated, refunded or replaced, even in the event that the reservation is cancelled or changed.

10. Changes or Cancellation may incur charges from CemAir, Thrifty Car Rental or accomodation. The customer is responsible to pay any such charges and any additional costs associated with changes or cancellations to the original booking requested by the customer.

11. The trip prize is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified.

12. Terms and conditions of this offer are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person,.

13. FiND iT PTY LTD reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice and at any stage during the competition.

Thrifty Car Rental Terms and Conditions

The winning prize will be a Group B vehicle to the value of R1 830 for a weekend road trip. 

  • The following conditions also apply to the competition, over and above already stipulated Terms and Conditions:
    • Group B vehicle for a three (3) day weekend rental anywhere in South Africa, where there is a Thrifty Car Rental branch.
    • Valid for three months from 01 February 2021.
    • Contract fee, time, mileage of 200km and super waiver are complimentary. 
    • Excess kilometers will be charged at R2 p/km.
    • The driver must be over 21 years of age and be in possession of a valid drivers licence for two years.
    • The rental excludes the fuel and any other additional charges that may be applicable.
    • The prize may not be exchanged for cash and is not transferable. 
    • The driver must have a valid credit card in their name which must be presented when the vehicle is collected, for any additional service charges that may be incurred. A deposit of R2 000 applies to all weekend rentals. (Friday – Monday)
    • This deposit excludes the responsibility amount in the event of an accident or theft or hi-jacking.
    • No additional drivers will be permitted on weekend rentals countrywide.
    • Car rental is conditional to availability and regrettably excludes peak periods.
    • All requests are subject to availability.
