New pedal-less bike created by car manufacturer

You can now buy your kid a Bentley, after the luxury car manufacturer launched a new pedal-less bike, complete with diamond-quilted handlebars and the brand’s iconic wing emblem.

The Bentley Balance Bike – which is on the market for £450 – is available in a range of colours matching the Bentley paint palette including Glacier White, Onyx, Sequin Blue and Dragon Red.

Pedal-less bike is inspired by the Bentley car

It features a unique safety locking brake system and a magnesium alloy frame inspired by the sleek lines of a Bentley car.

Aluminium wheel rims and 12-inch rubber tyres ensure absolute comfort, whilst diamond-quilted handlebars also echo the luxury detailing found in Bentley cars.

The bike, which also has Bentley painted on the frame, includes the brand’s iconic wing emblem and is designed for children aged three and over.

The ergonomically designed adjustable seat is made from eco-leather and features a carbon-fibre inspired pattern for added style.

Bentley designer, Chris Cooke, said: “The balance bike was designed with the same meticulous level of detail that goes into every vehicle.

“The frame was inspired by the power line that can be seen on our cars and is reproduced in the key line that flows around the frame of the bike.

“The seat, an important contact point for both rider and parent, has hidden diamond knurling to improve grip when steadying the rider and handlebars feature Bentley diamond quilting for comfort.”
