A new study by an American laboratory has revealed that the J&J vaccine is reportedly less effective against the Delta variant of Covid-19.

The study suggested that people who have already received the vaccine might need to get a second dose of the J&J vaccine.

Nearly 480 000 healthcare workers in South Africa have received the vaccine as part of the Sisonke trial.
